Studies have shown that a child's early experiences and relationships set the stage for how the child will manage feelings and relate to others later in life. Social and emotional dimensions are important contributors to the overall development of teens. Gladiolus Place has incorporated activities such as family and devotion time, family bonding sessions to inculcate good values and morals.
Counselling is also a collaborative programme that can help a teen to see different perspectives, learn to manage problems effectively so as to improve well-being, alleviate distress and increase adaptability. Gladiolus Place arranges for trained counsellors and psychologists to help facilitate regular individual and group counselling sessions together with family members. The main aims are to encourage, uplift and promote positive thinking.
Bible study and group work are regularly organized to nurture and encourage spiritual growth.
